Pony ride...

Mia got to go to Ellie's Pink Pony Party today! We weren't sure if she'd actually like the pony when she saw it in real life, but she was SO excited! Here are a few pictures of Mia's 1st pony ride! I think she's hooked!

Halloween Celebrations...

Mia started "2's on their own" at the Park District on Thursday with 2 of her friends! She LOVED it and made a crazy bat hat! We went to Brett's office to trick or treat and for a little party. Mia showed off her fairy princess outfit! Madison was in her pumpkin outfit from a friend! We put a bow on her on Halloween so people would know she was a girl! Madison helped me hand out candy while Brett took Mia around our neighborhood. After that, we headed to Grandma and Papa's and then to some friends' for a party! Mia had SUCH a fun day! She would love to dress up and go trick or treating every day! (She calls it Halloweening).

Hanging out with Daddy

Madison has been smiling and making all sorts of cute sounds as she talks to us! I LOVE this stage! It's so fun to have her being more responsive!

New Baby Doll and Blanket

This outfit was mine when I was a baby! We got it on Madison just in time! It won't fit much longer!

Great Grandma Shelby sent a special package for Mia and Madison. Madison got a new blanket and pillow and Mia got a new baby doll with clothes and a blanket and pillow that match Madison's. Mia was so cute with her baby doll. She changed the clothes a few times and then had me swaddle her. She held her just like I hold Madison and lightly bounced her in her arms saying, "It's OK" and "shh, shh, shh". I think she straightened her blanket out about 50 times. She is very particular!

Meeting Great Grandpa & Grandma Erickson and more...

We had a wonderful lunch celebrating Great Grandpa's birthday and having them meet Madison for the first time! Mia showed her skills in stacking cheese and crackers and using Grandma's iphone! She LOVES the musical cards that are out so we had to get one for Great Grandpa! We bought Cubs Fannie May chocolates but it didn't help...a few days later they lost the playoffs. Bummer! There are a few other random pictures I just really liked too!

Fall Festival...

Mia shared her bear with Madison this morning! So cute!

We had a great time on Saturday at the Fall Festival at our friends' church! Mia got her face painted and ran around non stop for 2 hours! It's been nice having such a gorgeous fall!
